Is there a technical term for the pathological inability to be embarrassed?
What an extraordinarily stupid woman.
Somebody called Debbie Schlussel has read an account in the New York Times of a Japanese study about genetically-determined differences in ear wax (Africans and Europeans tend to have one sort, East Asians another.) Native Americans have the Asian sort. Ergo, they came to America from Asia. So far, so yawn, but here comes the fun part: given that Native Americans originally came to the Americas from someplace else, Miss Schlussel concludes that Europeans didn't steal their land because it wasn't 'theirs' to begin with.
In response to the howls of laughter one would expect at such a post, Miss Schlussel has added a preface that shows her to be even stupider, if that were possible, than did the original post itself. From a quotation reproduced in comments at TBogg, we learn that Miss Schlussel is a 'lifelong conservative Republican activist'. Well of course she is.

What a brilliant argument - the implication being that had Native Americans only originated in Europe they wouldn't have deserved to be driven from where they lived. But since they migrated from Asia - well, gosh darn it, Europeans obviously had territorial priority.

As a teenager, I used to conclude from considerations like this that no people has any "right" to any territory, and that therefore all territorial disputes (like that one in the Holy Land) were trivial. Property, in other words, was theft, and people should just grow up and see it as clearly as I did! To my (slight) credit, even then I wouldn't have forgotten that the Native Americans are believed to be descended from the first people to arrive on these shores....

So there's a chance that earwax may be what causes some to steal, be lazy and randomly procreate and others to excel in math and sciences
